Physical Design Engineer - Contractor position

Responsibilities:

• Be a significant part of the Physical Design team, developing the Designs of Altair’s next generation state-of-the-art chips.
• Investigate, develop, innovate and improve challenging Physical Design flows.
• Multi-disciplinary, Participating in many steps of the Physical Design flow. Escorting the design from RTL to GDS.
• Supporting other team's activities, which are Physical Design, oriented.
  
  

• At least 3 years hands-on experience in Physical Design
• Understanding the entire physical design flow (“RTL to GDS”): Synthesis, Floorplan, Place & Route, Clock tree
• Understanding and practicing signoff activities: STA, DRC/LVS, IR-drop, LEC
• Scripting knowledge (Tcl/Perl/Pyton)
• Advanced Node experience (preferred)
• Experience with Cadence tools- Genus/Innovus (preferred)
