Your Role

As Test Automation Manager you will be responsible for building your team and designing, implementing, and managing automation and testing strategies while building infrastructure from scratch.

You will be a key player leading from the front, with multiple stakeholders in the company and a significant responsibility for the important aspects of quality in Tenable Cloud Security.

Your Opportunity

• Lead widely and establish Tenable Cloud Security automation framework.
• Manage and mentor talents -QA and Automation teams.
• Strategize and execute the planning and development of automation tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage for new additions to our product portfolio.
• Recruit and onboard new team members, developing and implementing an effective training program to ensure a seamless integration into the team.
• Manage the executing of automation tests systematically for version approval, delivering comprehensive status reports to keep the R&D team informed.
• Define and uphold coding standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in automation script development.
• Lead efforts to enhance existing QA processes, introducing methodologies that elevate the overall quality of our products.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Proven experience 9+ years in automation testing, process improvement, or related fields.
• Tech stack: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python/Go/Node.js/Java development experience
• Strong understanding of automation technologies and methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience in developing scalable automation infrastructure - Must
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a technical role, such as a tech lead or managerial position - Must
• Strong hands-on skills - writing tests, code reviews, CI/CD tools - Must
• Knowledge in cybersecurity, cloud security, Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security measures.
• Proficiency in coding languages and automation tools
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of driving successful automation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
