Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel to join Shamir Legal Department, reporting to the Group General Counsel

• Provide corporate law advice, and perform corporate-related work for the various Group entities;
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts with vendors and customers;
• Interact and work with the company's HQ departments (Finance, IT, Marketing and Operations) and group subsidiaries on diverse legal issues and provide ongoing legal advice;
• Advise on data protection laws, including draft, review and update templates and agreements, as well as providing legal support to work streams and processes relating to Data Protection laws.

Requirements:

• LLB degree and admission to the Israeli Bar Association – a must;
• At least 5 years of legal counseling practice;
• Proven experience and deep knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, and an in-depth understanding of the GDPR – must!
• Proven experience as an in-house lawyer/a leading Israeli law firm – an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of various legal matters typical to business environment;
• Hebrew as mother tongue; English – mother tongue or at least fluent speaker with proven drafting skills;
