Residential Treatment Evening Coordinator

At Spero Family Services, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the youth we serve through our Residential Treatment programs. While our primary focus is to support the youth’s mental health needs, we also provide opportunities for growth in spirituality, social skills, education, life skills, and recreation both on and off campus.

We also believe in the power of community and teamwork, not just for our youth but for our staff as well. Our Residential Treatment staff work together to provide the best environment for our youth. In addition, all of our main offices and Leadership staff are local and accessible. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Residential Treatment Evening Coordinator. This would be a great opportunity for someone to gain leadership experience in the field and be part of a mission driven organization.

As the Residential Treatment Evening Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Residential and Group Home programs during evening hours. You will be responsible for overseeing the evening activities and providing guidance and support to both clients and staff members. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general oversight of the programs when Supervisors and Program Managers are not on campus
• Supervise and support direct care staff during evening shifts
• Provide crisis management and de-escalation support when needed
• Collaborate with other coordinators and staff members to ensure continuity of care across all shifts
  
  

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, Minimum of 21 years of age, Valid Illinois driver’s license, Previous experience in 24/7 care

Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, organized, detail oriented, basic computer and keyboarding skills to input service documentation. Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to recognize and report issues or concerns pertaining to program management or home operations.

Miscellaneous: Must pass pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must have the f lexibility to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
