What you're applying for

We're looking for an executive VP R&D to lead our technology across the entire company's portfolio (Photos, Plants, Lights, AR home design). You'll report to, and work closely with, David Katz, Mixtiles' CEO and co-founder, and be part of the company's management.

In this role you'll be pivotal in shaping the future of home design

Here's what you'll do:

• Lead the Charge Across All Technical Frontiers: You'll be the guiding force behind every technical aspect of our products, from frontend and backend development to hardware and firmware, ensuring everything works together seamlessly.
• Build and Mentor the Dream Team: Define the roles, hire top talent, and oversee the development teams across the business. You'll cultivate a group of innovators ready to disrupt home design.
• Strategize and Execute with Precision: Own the technical vision and execution, making strategic decisions that will pave the way for our success.
• Innovate and Explore: Push the boundaries of our research and development, accelerate our business and product roadmap, bringing the future of smart home design into every house in the world.
• Set New Standards: Commit to making all our products the most exceptional ones introduced into the market, setting new benchmarks in quality and innovation.
  
  

• R&D executive (director & above) with a hands on approach, able to lead 15-20 engineers across 4 teams
• Someone who has consistently ranked among the top 3 engineers in all previous organizations, demonstrating exceptional technical skills
• Proven expertise (coupled with great passion) to drive the product, business and customer satisfaction to the next level
• Talent craftsman, skilled at finding and bringing on board A players, setting high hiring standards, and creating an environment where these top performers can really shine and grow.

• You worked in a startup or a B2C company
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A track record of building from scratch
