Backend Team Lead - Core team

Bionic is looking for an experienced Backend Team Lead that lives and breathes technology. With Bionic, you will have the opportunity to manage, design, develop and maintain out-of-the-box modules, algorithms and extensions while working with highly talented engineers.

Lead an amazing group of individuals responsible for Bionic network data sources while executing at a fast pace. Be an integral part of the research, design, and development process and play a significant role in making critical business decisions.

The role requires excellent managerial and communication skills, as well as deep technical knowledge.

What you will do?:

• Lead a talented team of developers, researchers and network specialists in developing Bionic's platform
• Mentor and help your team evolve and grow while achieving company goals
• Become a key decision maker in technical, architectural, product, and procedural matters
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, distributed infrastructure for inspecting applications
• Establish, nurture, and implement an efficient and effective research and development process in collaboration with Product Managers and other Team Leads
• Help solve complex customer issues using our solutions and platform
• Resolve complex problems in large-scale backend infrastructures by identifying issues and implementing solutions
• Provide technical leadership to team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing
  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience
• 2+ years of experience as a leader: managing a team and leading projects from start to finish
• Experience in working with databases and backend software development
• Hands-on experience with networking concepts, traffic protocols
• Experience with developing and maintaining enterprise-level and high-scale production systems
• Mentality of a team player, sense of ownership and ability to work and make decisions under pressure
• Advantage - Experience with Windows/Linux internals, operating systems, embedded and low-level background
• Advantage - familiarity with SaaS and modern cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP
