Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Opsys-tech has developed the world’s most advanced solid state scanning LiDAR with NO moving parts for the automotive industry. We have recently signed a few agreements with leading global automotive players to supply our LiDAR to major OEMs in Asia and Europe. We are looking for a talented QC Engineer for half time position to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance processes implementation and definition within the organization. You will work closely with Engineering team, laboratories, production lines collaborating on project requirements and delivering quality improvements and solutions based on automotive regulations requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in products through visual inspection, measurements, or testing.
• Managing incoming inspection process- Definition, execution, documentation
• Quality control in production line – Final QC/Release inspection
• Being Familiar with various quality standards and implementation of the standards within the organization
• Managing laboratories quality and regulation aspects (ESD, 5S, Procedures)
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, manufacturing and additional interfaces

Required skills:

• Proficiency in Quality engineering and familiarity with quality methodologies
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings 
• Strong technical background
• Experience with multidisciplinary products
• Experience in quality procedures/ working instructions writing (English)
• Experience with IPC 610, IPC 620 standards - advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering/ Practical engineering degree
• 3 years + of quality control experience in a multidisciplinary products industry
