Role Purpose

Assistant Controller is a key member of the Workplace Management business line being responsible for managing and facilitating all communication with abroad finance teams and ensure correct AR and AP posting by the bookkeeping local team.

What This Job Involves

• Coordinate and manage all contacts with abroad finance teams, directing instructions to local Account Receivable (AR), Account Payable (AP) and professionally supporting local bookkeeping team.
• Supervising reporting to authorities’ process: Monthly detailed VAT, Tax advanced (withholding tax management), 102, 126, 856
• Payroll – monthly controls, posting, distribution to Finance teams abroad, prepare data monthly for payroll controller.
• Reviewing, investigating, and correcting errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
• Invoice approval workflow
• Monitoring of control effectiveness and working with internal audit department during SOX audit
• Analyzing finance processes and identifying areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved
• Providing support in preparation and control of monthly and year-end financial close for Israel (running client and corporate P&Ls, communication with finance managers, estimating accruals, variance analysis on P&Ls, running final reports, balance sheet reconciliations review)
• Work with external auditors
• Managing cost control reports and analysis to the company’s projects.
• Balance sheet controls and allocations: Accruals, funds, advance and deposits management, employees etc.
• AR and AP aging – monthly check, allocations, communication with finance teams.
• Professional management of Bookkeeping team
• Help with documenting process and writing training materials on current process
