Project Manager

Evogene (NASDAQ: EVGN, TASE: EVGN.TA) is a leading computational biology company that aims to revolutionize the development of life science-based products across multiple market segments.

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary R&D projects combining scientific, computational, and experimental activities in multiple life science fields – genomics, microbiology & chemistry. The project manager will lead customer-oriented R&D projects as well as internal R&D projects.

Our offices are located in Rehovot.

The position requires:

• Tight work with customers and internal multidisciplinary teams to structure work plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget.
• Managing, monitoring, and coordinating the progress of project activities, ensuring execution according to work plans, objectives, and budget.
• Identifying critical path activities and bottlenecks.
• Managing communication and interfaces with customers and multiple internal teams.
• Reporting project status to relevant stakeholders, including management and customers.

All you need is:

• Experience of at least 3 years in project management in the life science or computational biology industries - must.
• Relevant scientific or computational education – BSc/MSc in Biology or other life sciences (including bioinformatics) – must.
• Extensive experience and comfort with Gantt charts, project management software, Excel, Jira, etc.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Hebrew and English.
