Over the past year and a half, we have been expanding our data team, which now boasts five skilled data and cloud engineers.

Our focus isn't just on minimizing cloud expenses for our clients but rather on delivering a comprehensive spectrum of services. These include technical assessments, the application of well-architected frameworks, hands-on project delivery, and ongoing support as required.

Additionally, we are active community contributors with a special emphasis on cloud-native and public cloud advocacy.

We also maintain strong partnerships with key industry players such as AWS, Azure, GCP, HashiCorp, Portworx, Prisma, and many others.

We are seeking a highly capable Data Architect to lead our data services at the CTO office.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys crafting their path and is eager to drive the development of modern data architecture. You will begin by assessing customer needs and adapting to rapidly changing data trends, boldly pivoting strategies whenever necessary.

Your focus will be on establishing a robust presale infrastructure that addresses both technical and business aspects, collaborating closely with our partners, and working alongside our data delivery team providing technical mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in data management and analytics, recommending strategic adoption to enhance data capabilities
• Build a data offering presale infrastructure that integrates both technical and business elements
• Forge and nurture partnerships with major vendors and service providers
• Lead and execute POCs to demonstrate the viability and benefits of proposed solutions
• Create and disseminate knowledge via blog posts, participate in meetups, and speak at conferences
• Actively engage in data project pre-sales opportunities
• Collaborate with the data team to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in database management ,Big Data & AI/ML engineering experience
• Deeply technical and analytical with implementation and architectural experience in Streaming, Big Data, and Data Warehousing
• Hands-on experience leading large-scale databases, ETL/ELT deployment in batch or streaming ingestion
• Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS: Familiarity with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra) and relational databases (like MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with data migration techniques and process planning
• AWS Certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Big Data
• Strong experience in data security/compliance experience, or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving skills, including optimizing new processes
• Ability to influence multiple teams, functional areas, and levels of leadership
• Ability to see around corners, predict needs, and identify patterns
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are necessary
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of database security and governance frameworks
• DevOps experience on AWS/Azure platform
• Strong in Python, Spark, PySpark, Unix shell scripting
• Familiarity with modern technology stack:
• Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Lineage, Data Catalog, DBT ,Apache Iceberg ,Databricks ,AirByte
• Multi-cloud experience a plus - Azure, AWS, Google
• ML/AI hands on experience
• Certified AWS Big Data Specialty
