The Role

The Legal Ops Counsel will be instrumental in managing a wide array of legal matters, including probates, partition sales, evictions, title issues, drafting agreements, and sending notices. This role requires close coordination with external attorneys across various jurisdictions and a thorough understanding of real estate, corporate law, litigation, and contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and support on legal activities including litigation, probates, partition sales, evictions, and title matters.
• Oversee litigation and manage relationships with outside counsel.
• Address legal and operational issues directly with customers and vendors
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize legal documents to protect the organization’s legal interests.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Serve as the primary legal contact, facilitating effective communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the success of complex deals, take charge and reach out to the potential clients.
• Conduct legal training for employees on relevant issues and potential risks.
• Perform due diligence in legal matters relating to contracts and negotiations.

The Right Person:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a real estate investment firm or in-house corporate setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. real estate law preferred.
• Law degree (LL.B./J.D.) from an accredited university. Licensing in Israel or the U.S
• Superior legal drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong business acumen and the capacity to integrate legal and business strategies.
• Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• High ethical standards and professionalism, particularly in handling confidential information.
