Country Manager Israel

INTECSA, Spanish engineering and consultancy company present in over 30 countries is looking for a Country Manager to support the growth of the civil engineering business in Israel.

He/she will manage an already existing portfolio of long-term projects in the areas of transportation and urban water, and organize Intecsa expansion in the country, with a strong focus on the business development of metro and railway infrastructure opportunities.

The responsibilities of the position include business strategy definition, business development, operations management, and financial management, ensuring a profitable and sustainable activity in the country and the consolidation of Intecsa brand.

To successfully perform within this position, the candidates should develop, among others, the following responsibilities:

• Industry expertise in metro and railroad either in design or construction and functional expertise in business development.
• Organizational skills to develop a sustainable Intecsa organization model in the country.
• Capacity of adaptation to the country culture and specific ways of doing business.
• Able to work without continuous supervision, taking advantage of the available resources within the company.
• A comprehensive commercial and technical interface to address client needs and requisites.
• And people skills ensuring the satisfaction of clients, employees, and other stakeholders.
• Oriented mindset and strong commercial drive.
• With corporate management team to ensure the consistency of company strategy.
• The performance of the branch and reporting to the senior management.
• Market trends and competitor activity

In addition, the following qualifications are considered relevant for this position:

• Experience as a Country Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of the country’s market conditions and business practices
• Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Financial and business acumen
• In English and the local language of the designated country (Hebrew)
• To adapt to a multicultural environment
• Problem-solving skills and ability to manage crisis
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Administration / Management degree will be considered a plus.
