Electro-Optic Applications Developer

Join us at our Missile and Space Systems Division as an Electro-Optic Applications Developer.

What will you do:

• Collaborating with a team of experts in absolute radiometric calibration for spectral observation systems.

• Developing applications and algorithms for extracting information from raw satellite imagery (processing).

• Algorithm development for image tuning (pre-processing).

What we're looking for:

• Master's degree - mandatory

• 5 years of experience in remote sensing: deep understanding of relevant theory, mastery of radiometric and spectral calibration methods, image processing, relevant algorithmics, atmospheric calibration, and application development supporting electro-optical spectral remote sensing.

• Operation of relevant equipment.

• Development of calibration plans and implementation.

• Experience in algorithm development in Python/IDL/MATLAB.

• Proficiency in geospatial data visualization and processing tools: Blaze / ArcGIS / QGIS /ENVI / GXP / ER-mapper, etc.

• Development of infrastructure and suitable applications, including new applications for civilian and military target detection using AI.

• Proficiency in an additional language: C++/C/C# - an advantage.

Our team at the Spectral Processing Unit in our missile facility in the aerospace industry focuses on research and development of advanced capabilities for automated data extraction, for spectral remote sensing systems, and more. The team develops operational software for ground-based stations and serves as a knowledge hub for spectral signal processing in the aerospace industry. Team activities span across atmospheric radiation transition, image and data fusion, target detection, system noise handling and calibration, and various simulations for space photography systems.
