Assistant Financial Controller

AvaTrade is an industry-leading online trading broker, founded in 2006 to perfect the online experience for retail traders globally. AvaTrade is regulated by 9 regulations across 6 continents.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and independent Assistant Controller for our subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing the quarterly and annual financial statements (including transfer pricing, FX, and intercompany reconciliations) by IFRS.
• Preparing the annual tax reports.
• Monitoring the accounting procedures (processes) and internal controls (ISOX).
• Preparing monthly reports for regulatory requirements (ISA).
• Assistance with the preparation of the group budgets or forecasts.
• Monitoring and analyzing actual results vs. budget.

Requirements:

• Licensed CPA, Big 4 or Big 5 audit experience – a Must.
• Extensive knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) – a Must.
• High-level English – a Must.
• Familiarity with NetSuite / SAP system – an Advantage.
