IL Assistant Controller

Description

Our amazing finance team is growing and were looking for an Assistant Controller to join us.

In this role, you will take a part in our success in the accounting and reporting processes.

About The Role

• Take part in our monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process and reporting.
• Developing key financial policies and procedures
• Verify compliance with corporate guidance, procedures and policies
• Work with the audit team during the quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of financial data
• Documentation of internal controls (SOX)
• Assist in preparation of the statutory financial statements and the tax returns
• Implementation and documentation of new accounting standards (US-GAAP)
• Assist with special projects as required
  
  

• CPA with a minimum of 3 years experience in one of the big 4 - a must
• Vast experience with US-GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience with Priority or NetSuite ERP systems - an advantage.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with and analyze and
• interpret large volumes of transactional data.
• Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to succeed and make an impact.
