Back End Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full-stack software Engineer

We are building an AI-powered sales-by-SMS platform specifically tailored for D2C brands that sell highly considered products.Our platform is designed to dramatically enhance the capacity of salespeople and improve conversion rates. Since our launch ≈6 months ago, we have signed commercial contracts with leading insurance companies and selected e-commerce brands that sell high-ticket items in large volumes. Currently, we are more than doubling number of transactions per month and increasing salespeople's capacity by 3x.

Our stack is currently VueJs, Python, and SQL within AWS-managed architecture.

We have several integrations with WhatsApp API, LLMs and customer’s CRM systems

Primary Duties

• Research, design, and deploy new technical solutions for a variety of ground-breaking projects.
• Architect, build, and maintain REST APIs for external and internal customers
• Identify bottlenecks and points of scale and outline architectural tradeoffs as we balance finding product market fit with new features and driving broad platform adoption.
• Help architect our sales AI platform.
• Take ownership and get creative with your solutions, dive into bold ideas in order to achieve outstanding results
• Be accountable for communicating transparently and proactively, defining scope, breaking down and estimating tasks, risk and change management

Requirements

• A track record of leading large scale projects through phases of ambiguity and challenge with great results
• A proven career as a software engineer developing large-scale backend applications and APIs, 
• hands-on expertise using Python. SaaS experience preferred, history of pragmatically adopting new architectures and languages to support teamwork and great engineering, product, and design outcomes.
• Experience with Python mulit-threading and asyncio for building highly scalable cloud based solutions
• Familiarity with building applications on AWS services
• Experience with relational databases, advanced SQL and database modelling. (MUST)
• Experience building modular, flexible architectures (avoiding vendor lock-in, maximizing readability and extensibility). 
• Experience with NoSQL is a plus
• Personal or professional experience leveraging LLMs and related AI technologies.
