Project Manager - Electronic Products

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Job Description:

As a Project Manager , you will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating all aspects of Valens devices based product development process. You will leverage your extensive experience in working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality electronic products. Your technical skills in board design, thermal design, mechanical design, and New Product Introduction (NPI) will be essential to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. ODM/CM Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with ODM and CM partners, facilitating clear communication and collaboration to meet project objectives.
3. Technical Expertise: Apply your deep technical knowledge in board design, thermal design, and mechanical design to guide the development of cutting-edge electronic products.
4. NPI Management: Oversee the New Product Introduction process, including prototype development, validation, testing, and manufacturing ramp-up.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
6. Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, to support project objectives.
7. Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality standards throughout the product development process, conducting thorough testing and validation to deliver reliable and high-performance products.
8. Documentation: Ensure that all project documentation, including technical specifications, design files, and test reports, are accurately maintained and organized.
9. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project progress, challenges, and milestones to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience (7 years) as a Project Manager in electronic product development, with a focus on ODM and CM collaboration.
• Knowledge in board design, thermal, and mechanical considerations
• Strong understanding of the product development flow, from concept to manufacturing.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in electronic product development.
• Experience with NPI processes and the ability to drive successful product launches.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
