High Speed Board Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-speed electronic circuits
• Lead the development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) from concept to production
• Ensure that PCBs meet all performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements
• Perform SI/PI simulations to optimize circuit performance
• Conduct bring-up and testing of PCBs
• Document design decisions and PCB layouts
• Collaborate with other engineers and teams to ensure successful product development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electronics development, with a proven track record of leading PCB development projects from concept to production
• Expertise in high-speed interfaces, including JESD204, ETH-10Gbps, ETH-25Gbps, and PCIe3/4
• Experience in designing FPGA/SOC devices from Intel and Xilinx
• Experience in designing high-speed memory devices, including DDR3/4/LP
• Familiarity with mixed-signal components, including A2D and D2A converters
• Knowledge of PCB layout considerations for high-speed designs
• Proficiency in SI/PI simulation tools
• Proven experience in performing bring-up and testing of hardware-software integrated boards
• Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong systems-level understanding and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
