Food Safety Manager

Join our team as a Food Safety Manager for the Quality Department in our Operations Division!

In this role, you'll lead processes and routines for continuous improvement in food safety across various sites.

You'll implement and enforce organizational policies, updates, and guidelines regarding food safety at all division sites.

Responsibilities include monitoring compliance and tracking tasks outlined in food safety team meetings at sites, overseeing the implementation of HACCP plans, controlling sanitation and disinfection plans, and developing training programs in food safety, sanitation, and disinfection.

You'll also provide support for on-site food safety events, analyze deviations, accompany external auditors, and assess the effectiveness of our food safety system.

You'll initiate corrective and preventive actions in the food safety domain and ensure compliance with food safety metrics through drills, inspections, and corrective actions.

What do you need?

- A degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a relevant first degree (Life Sciences, Biology, etc.).

- Minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in the quality field, including at least 3 years in food safety.

- 2 years of managerial experience, including 1 year as an HACCP team leader.

- Experience in conducting investigations.

- Familiarity with regulations and regulatory requirements - an advantage.

- Experience in conducting internal audits and required certifications - an advantage.
