Fashion Designer

About the Role:

Jinga’s Design Department is looking for a pro-active and experienced designer that has a passion for the sports world (preferably cycling, running and/or triathlon), either as a designer or as a committed sporter.

General responsibilities:

• Leading collection production from start to finish (development, design, production management)

• Leading a design / production team (task management, team meetings, team training and learning, report production)

• Quality control: Implementing procedures to evaluate materials, workmanship, and finished products, ensuring high standards are met. Anticipate on potential issues and undertake corrective action to solve problems.

• Communication with factories

• Designing and developing new products (development, testing of raw materials, management of schedules)

• Communication and working with professional athletes (feedback collection, personal production based on needs, product explanations, measurements)

Experience & Skills:

• Experience in the design and production of textile, such as sourcing and selecting fabrics, pattern making & grading, etc.

• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders.

• Understanding management - people and processes

• A sharp eye (for products, accessories, mistakes, etc.)

• Ability to maintain an overview of various production processes

• Time managment

• Strong English language skills, and at least medium Hebrew reading and speaking skills

• Tech savvy – ability to work with various design and project management software

• Strong passion for cycling, running/triathlon.
