Hardware Integration Engineer

Cielo Inertial Solutions, a leading company in the development and production of Inertial Navigation Systems for the defense industry in Israel and International Markets, is looking for Hardware Integration Engineer to join us to integrate, test and support complex hardware systems for Cielo’s cutting-edge products.

Your day-to-day activity is to work closely with multiple interfaces – Systems Engineering, Embedded Real-Time Software, NPI Electronics team and more on company cross products and be part of the HW team.

In this role you will –

1. Define and conduct lab experiments.
2. Designing, building, and testing electrical systems
3. Electronics failure analysis, from board to system level
4. Participate in multidisciplinary research - design, development, testing and utilization of hardware and electronics components.
5. Prepare boards bring-up and testing procedures.
6. Components research – ICs, connectors, and wires
7. Cable/Harness design for Cielo’s products and setups
8. Generate engineering changes for validation & testing and to improve system performance
9. Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Role requirements -

1. BSC in Electronics Engineering with 3-4 years of experience or Practical Engineering diploma with more than 8 years of experience in multidisciplinary systems
2. Electronics schematics reading and analysis capabilities – MUST
3. Proven familiarity with lab test equipment -MUST
4. Proven hands-on capabilities with electronics assembly, calibration and testing - MUST
5. Ability to proactively solve and document board & system level failures.
6. Multitasking capabilities – coordination capabilities to manage several resources.
7. Independent and self-learner – ability to learn wide and in-depth technical information.
8. Interpersonal skills
9. Understanding the system wise of the multidisciplinary system as well as detailed design.
