What You’ll Achieve

The Edison engineering team is a dynamic team that offers opportunities to get to know many different applications, services, platforms, and programming languages. We work in front end, backend, DevOps, generative AI – many of the most exciting and in demand areas. Our projects range from production systems to proofs of concept.

As a Software Engineering student, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

• Review and understand software requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and work with experienced engineers.
• Learn to deliver tasks on time and according to specifications.
• Review code, receive and provide feedback useful actional feedback.
• Learn new applications, software programming languages, services, and platforms.

Essential Requirements

• Good knowledge and understanding of SSH HTTP and other TCP protocols.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Python. JavaScript. Other scripting languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of configuration formats such as JSON, YAML, HCL, INI.
• Studying towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
