Controller

Qognify (Part of Hexagon) is seeking to hire a Controller, based in our Israeli office reporting to the Director of Finance. The successful candidate will be a key member of the global finance team, supporting multiple legal entities in different regions. In this role the Controller will be responsible for monthly closing processes, financial analysis & reporting, tax filling and supporting FP&A activities for a global software business.

Responsibilities:

• Review monthly closing processes (AP, AR, GL, Amortization, Consolidation, etc.)
• Manage fixed assets of all subsidiaries
• Manage monthly Revenue Recognition and COGS margin analysis.
• Ensure quality control over P&L transactions (departments, accounts, regions and LOB)
• Upload subsidiaries Trial Balance in GL to NetSuite
• Review I\C transactions to make sure there is full reconciliation
• Prepare all Balance Sheet account reconciliations, including key accruals
• Responsible for capitalization of SW and related amortization process - work closely with R&D team to make sure capitalization & amortization are properly recorded
• Work closely with Operations team to make sure inventory is booked correctly.
• Prepare tax filings and reporting for all group oversees entities
• Prepare the company’s financial statements and work with Qognify’s auditors.
• Prepare local reporting in UK, Singapore and Israel
• Support the global collection effort
• Support the bookkeepers in their daily tasks
• Assist with the budget process
• Assist with special projects as necessary
  
  

• Must have CPA experience from one of the Big 4 accounting firms
• 2-3 years of experience max in a High-Tech company after completion of practice
• Independent, detail oriented, a team player, fast data learning ability, attention to details and ability to multi-task
• Familiar with NetSuite (Oracle) – advantage
• Excellent Excel skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have strong English verbal and written skills
  
  

• B.A – in Accounting
• MBA – an advantage
