A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an electronics engineer at MKS Ophir, you will partner with the Beam Profiling team to develop new and innovative products in the field of laser beam analysis

You Will Make an Impact By:

Helping to define electrical requirements for new projects

Designing circuit schematics

Working with layout and production service providers to produce PCBs

Troubleshooting electrical issues from the field

Researching new technologies and recommending design improvements

Documenting designs and tests

Skills You Bring:

Experience in schematic design using Altium/OrCAD or similar

Understanding of electronics design principles

Understanding of wired communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, etc.)

High level of computer proficiency

Experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, etc.)

High level of written and spoken English with good communication skills

2 years or more work experience in a similar role

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar

Preferred Skills:

Experience with FPGA design

Knowledge of WiFi principles and capabilities

Ability to understand and debug embedded software (firmware)

Understanding of optics basics

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Must be available to work full-time in Jerusalem
