Job Description

As the Head of UX, you’ll lead a team of talented UX/UI designers and play a key role in shaping the future of Wix products and user experience. This role requires a strategic leader who can bring clarity to complex challenges, navigate technical platforms and business-centric products, and build strong teams and scalable systems. In your day-to-day, you will:

Collaborate cross-functionally to enable teams and align UX strategies with business goals
Provide strategic design direction, ensuring alignment with user needs and company objectives
Help evolve our design systems and platform-wide UX infrastructure for scale and consistency
Provide hands-on guidance through design reviews, critiques, and feedback that raise the quality bar
Coordinate project prioritization and planning to deliver impactful results
Mentor and grow the UX team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Qualifications

5+ years managing product design teams
Mastery of UX and UI design principles and practices
Proven experience in research and data-driven design
Strong technical understanding and familiarity with AI-driven UX workflows
Exceptional leadership and team development skills
Skilled communicator with the ability to align stakeholders, manage complexity, and resolve cross-functional challenges
Experience with large-scale platforms and design systems – an advantage

Wix Business Manager – A unified workspace where business owners can manage every aspect of their online presence and operations.

Wix Developer Center – A development hub that empowers external developers to build and publish apps for the Wix ecosystem.

Wix App Market – A curated marketplace offering over 1,000 apps and services that help users grow and manage their businesses, with more than 20,000 installations happening every day.

We achieve this by creating a robust, open platform infrastructure for Wix, third-party developers, and power users to easily create extensible, high-quality management tools that are integrated within the Wix ecosystem.
