Production Procurement Team Leader

The supply chain division is the operational arm of the company. Responsible for carrying out the preparation, production and shipping plans of the organization. From forecast development, to purchase and production planning, through the delivery of the finished product.

The division includes the production, procurement, central planning, engineering and operational excellence departments. Working to produce quality products on time, while creating an exceptional experience characterized by excellence, flexibility and operational innovation for our employees, suppliers and customers.

We are looking for a Production Procurement Manager to join us!

Our procurement department is responsible for coordinating all procurement activities for production parts. and includes procurement of various fields such as: electronics, plastics, packaging, procurement of technical projects and R&D development.

Our goal is to always provide the company with the products according to the required quality and quantities at the right time and at the best price and to update the order costs and delivery times in real time.

This department has a professional and skilled team in procurement, supplier management, supplier selection and negotiations.

In this position you will:

• Have full responsibility for complex and large volume procurement transactions worth hundreds of millions of USD.
• Lead all aspects of procurement from proposal part, negotiations, closing agreements and managing the current interface with the suppliers.
• Work closely with the production sites and the planning department, legal advisor, and other factors to provide business solutions that support the company's strategy. End to end handling of quality requirements and supply issues with supplies and internal companies' interface.
• Partnership in defining the procurement policy, analysis costs reduction, and supply risks and opportunities.
• Manage a team of buyers that take care of the current production purchasing and providing solutions to problems in the everyday work.
• Manage suppliers (mainly) in China, who is dealing in different industries such as: PWS, engine and electronic components.
• Manage the import field, working with shipping companies and customs brokers.
  
  

• Experience in multidisciplinary procurement management for 7 years.
• Experience in managing a team of buyers.
• Experience in budget controlling and ability to lead a multi-year plan budget to its implementation.
• In-depth experience in agreements and engagements with foreign suppliers.
• Ability to manage negotiations.
• Knowledge and experience working with international import sources and procedures.
• Excellent level of English both verbal and written required.
• The work at the company HQ in Kibbutz Yizre'el, includes flights abroad.
