Software Engineer Team Lead

A fintech startup in the field of procurement management and automation for medium-sized businesses, developing a cloud-based (AWS) SaaS platform for managing a company's procurement process with all its suppliers. This includes full automation and savings in time and resources in areas such as payment processes, supplier interactions, invoices, and more. Additionally, the company is developing a SaaS application that serves as a marketplace for various suppliers and customers.

The company is located in Tel Aviv and offers two days of remote work per week.

The role:

• Managing one of the company's core teams, which includes one employee, and recruiting additional team members.
• The role is at least 70% hands-on and reports to the R&D Manager.
• Involves developing cloud-based SaaS software end-to-end with a slight focus on backend work, including architecture and design.
• The backend is written in Node.js and the frontend in Vue.js.
• Tech stack includes Node.js, Vue.js, AWS, microservices, Python (for data pipelines), CI/CD, Kubernetes, and serverless technology.

Requirements-

• 7 years of professional experience as a software engineer with frontend and backend development.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor developers – 2 years of experience in Team leader/ Tech lead positions.

• Experience building web applications from scratch.

• A deep understanding of production systems and the architecture of web products.

• BSc. or equivalent in Computer Science.

• Excellent knowledge of AWS and Nodejs.

• Experience working with at least one of the following frameworks: React/Vue.

• Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies.
