Microbiology Lab Technician

Lavie-bio is a leading ag-biologicals company that develops microbiome-based, computational-driven bio-stimulant and bio-pesticide novel products.

We are looking for a full-time Microbiology Lab Technician to join our amazing team (HQ in Rehovot).

The position requires hands-on laboratory skills and experience, as well as strong organizational and experimental skills, and a positive team spirit necessary to meet tight deadlines and high standards in a dynamic biotech start-up environment.

Responsibilities include:

•Bacterial isolations

•CFU counts.

•Bacteria preparation for greenhouse experiments

•PCR

•Maintenance of computational Bacterial bank

•Bacteria preservation for the bank collection

•Work according to SOP’s and protocols.

•Meticulous documentation of experiments.

Requirements:

•M.Sc. in biology preferably specializing in microbiology.

•Experience with microbiology laboratory standard procedures.

•Experience in molecular biology is an advantage.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Hebrew and English.

•Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office

•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
