DevSecOps Engineer

abra R&D is Seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team!

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development and deployment processes by integrating security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

The DevSecOps Engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement security measures, automate security testing, and ensure the overall security posture of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
• Implement and manage automated security testing tools and processes.
• Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Design and implement security controls for cloud environments and infrastructure.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Participate in the design and implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

• at least 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation + IaC and Terraform
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of application security concepts and practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified DevSecOps Professional, CISSP) are a plus.
