Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you want to work on the hottest topics in Generative AI and its applications in the language domain?

As an intern, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team of top AI researchers, working on the most advanced problems in the language generative AI domain, including applications of LLMs such as classification, summarization and retrieval augmented generation, evaluation of LLMs and of generative AI applications, aspects of model safety and metrics for evaluating generative AI.

Potential Internship Projects

• Research innovative methods for foundation models evaluation/testing in real world scenarios.
• Develop novel directions for language model customization to new tasks and domains, and apply these to real world problems in the enterprise setting.
• Research ways to enhance LLMs reasoning capabilities.
• Research ways to enhance LLMs abilities to act and respond safely.
• Develop novel LLM-as-judges models for evaluating generative AI applications
• Develop flexible frameworks to build and evaluate generative AI applications
  
  

The exact research area and scope of the internship will be determined towards the beginning of the internship.

A successful outcome of this internship will be a research paper submitted to a leading AI/NLP conference.

Our summer internship program offers the opportunity to join our research team for a three-month full-time internship (5 days a week) either in Tel Aviv or Haifa. During the internship, you will work with our talented researcher on top projects, helping create the next generation of AI technologies.

IBM Site in Hashahar Tower , Givataim (Near Tel Aviv Arlozorov train station)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• PhD /MSc student in AI/NLP
• Knowledge and experience in NLP and Deep Learning, as well as experience in diverse prompting methods, improving instructions and avoiding hallucinations.
• Hands on experience in writing code in Java and/or Python
• Innovative thinking, creativity, and self-learning
