Front End Engineer

It curates data from hundreds of security and business tools and contextualizes that data to help companies understand and address their riskiest problems. Our Unified Vulnerability Management module is our first module to tap into the power of our data fabric, enabling companies to create custom contextualized risk scores and tailored workflows to reduce risk. We are seeking a Front End Engineer (with a bit of backend development - depends on you!) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Avalor’s user interfaces, ensuring an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop user interfaces primarily using React (80%) and Java (20%)
• Deliver high quality features for our high-scale web environment
• Participate in design from scratch to production
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends to make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Integrate with other team members (backend/frontend/product/UX)

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in frontend development using React
• Experience in Java/Python/Nodejs - an advantage
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-scale web application environment
• Capability to design and develop high-performance, reusable code for UI components
• An enthusiastic self-learner who confidently adopts new technologies, explores innovative solutions, and delivers results effectively
• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Quick adaptability and ability to handle context switches efficiently
