DevOps Engineer

It curates data from hundreds of security and business tools and contextualizes that data to help companies understand and address their riskiest problems. Our Unified Vulnerability Management module is our first module to tap into the power of our data fabric, enabling companies to create custom contextualized risk scores and tailored workflows to reduce risk. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer at Avalor, you will be a key player in our technology-driven journey. You will work with a diverse and talented team to shape and maintain our infrastructure, streamline deployment processes, and integrate new technologies seamlessly.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Oversee the deployment and management of applications using ArgoCD, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
• Leverage IaC tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt to build and manage infrastructure, providing a solid foundation for our applications
• Maintain a keen awareness of production environments, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure system stability and performance
• Actively research and implement new technologies to enhance our infrastructure and keep us on the cutting edge
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and pain points, providing solutions and support
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance the efficiency, security, and reliability of our systems

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps with a strong track record of success
• 2+ years of professional experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experienced in creating, deploying, and overseeing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with tools like Git, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code, ideally with a strong foundation in Terraform
• Experience in managing container and infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with API Gateway technologies and their integration in a DevOps environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new technologies and implementing them effectively
• Strong collaboration and communication skills. Ready to actively contribute to a collaborative and innovative team
• A genuine passion for staying updated on the latest technologies and a drive to implement them in our infrastructure
