Baer’s Crest is seeking a skilled and dedicated financial controller to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide stability, promote growth, and drive innovation in the world of payment processing solutions and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new finance software and designing processes and controls around this.
• Recording and organizing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Reconciling bank statements, regulated client assets safeguarded funds, ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Preparing financial reports, summaries and analyses as required.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and expense tracking.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information aligns with business operations.
• Providing financial data for tax returns and regulatory reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices.
• Experience in management information reporting and finance analytics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in maintaining a strong control environment, including controls over cash and reconciliation controls.
• Financial services experience and/or knowledge of client money reconciliations an advantage
• Ability to work remotely, effectively
