About This Opportunity

As the Director of Fulfillment, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of logistics, transportation, trade compliance, and the establishment of new regional hubs.

Reporting directly to the Global VP Operations, you will be tasked with reducing lead times of shipments to customers, implementing Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency,

and ensuring an optimal customer experience through the elimination of waste and the delivery of value-added services.

In this role, you will…

• Lead and manage all aspects of logistics, transportation, and trade compliance operations.
• Strategically establish new regional hubs to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Implement Lean methodologies within the fulfillment organization to optimize processes and remove inefficiencies.
• Provide guidance and principles to all functions to prevent Dead on Arrivals (DOAs) and ensure the best customer experience.
• Collaborate closely with finance, planning, and sourcing departments to provide valuable insights on safety stock across regions and forecast meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Drive ongoing initiatives for cost reduction activities with external suppliers, logistics regional hubs, and global forwarders.
• Manage a diverse team of more than 50 employees across different locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, particularly within the medical market.
  
  

In this role, you’ll need …

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing teams of more than 50 employees across different geographical locations.
• Strong understanding of Lean methodologies and their application within fulfillment operations.
• Experience in the medical market or other regulated industries is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in logistics and supply chain management.
