Procurement Specialist

This role will provide Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) support to Israel and additional regional (as required) business units through the PR/PO process. In addition will partner closely and manage the relationship with key stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities for the role:

• review and process purchase requisitions for indirect goods and services for multiple sites.
• with suppliers, obtain quotes, submit purchase requests.
• purchase order acknowledgement / confirmation and follow-up with suppliers.
• with internal stakeholders to expedite purchasing requests.
• PR/PO performance and action supporting efficiencies and customer experience.
• general administrative support to procurement operations team.
• closely with all GSS Buyers and EMEA AP to review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
• edit, and provide Procurement data for financial analysis supporting supplier management.
• the Supplier Life Cycle management team to create and maintain supplier records.
• with e-Procurement admin on system issues, enhancements, and requests.
• the Global Procurement Policy through partnering, collaboration, and training.
• execution of defined purchasing requirements through to delivery in line with audit 3-way match SOX process.
• opportunities to drive cost savings target through supplier spend consolidation.
• the management of supplier relationships (SRM). For key relationships this includes conducting bi-annual business reviews and evaluating opportunities to negotiate across different engagements.
• expertise in the categories in scope, leveraging internal and external sources.
• Procurement Projects as required.

• A graduate degree in business, finance and or purchasing preferable, with four - five years’ experience in a global procurement operations role.
• Display of procurement mastery within a team to adhere to an execution methodology and originate high quality execution.
• Excellent verbal experience in organizing, leading, and conducting presentations by providing recommendation and guidance, mitigating risk and any effects on other systems and processes.
• Highly established working knowledge of procurement operations.
• Process skills driving execution reviews and updates delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Exceptionally capable of analytical thinking.
• Ability to perform consulting tasks and explain intricate procurement procedures in nonprofessional terms.
• Deliver training as necessary around policies, procedures, and technology.
• Exceptional knowledge of ERP systems. i.e. SAP, Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, Workday etc.
• Particularly good working knowledge of MS office suite including Teams, OneDrive, and Zoom programs.
• Hebrew language speaking / written skills preferable.
• This role based in Petah Tikva, Israel.
