Description

Each day will be different. This position is responsible for providing EHS support, which includes: • Performing EHS inspections and assessments in a variety of workplace settings Coordinating chemical inventories, emergency evacuation drills, new equipment and chemical reviews • Providing guidance and training to employees • Conducting incident investigations and developing corrective action plans • Making recommendations for improvements to EHS procedures and programs • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement EHS initiatives and improvements • Organizing and facilitating project and EHS committee meetings • Writing and reviewing risk assessments and procedures • Contributing to the regional EHS team in EMEA in regular meetings and activities
Degree in a relevant Environment, Health and Safety subject
Fluency in Hebrew and English
Safety officer or safety trustee qualification
Experience in laboratory safety, environmental management and risk assessment in an R&E environment
Proficient in writing reports and presentations
Proficiency in national and local EHS legislation
