Lead Data Scientist

Storywise, an investor backed AI start-up in the creator economy is looking for a core team member to join us, with hands-on experience in building AI-based products, who will work directly with the CTO on the company’s core technology.

• A proven track record with at least ten years of hands-on experience in Data Science, particularly in NLP. This experience should encompass machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, and data modeling proficiency.
• At least 5 years of experience coding in Python using relevant libraries and frameworks for data analysis and modeling.
• Demonstrated proficiency in engineering concepts, libraries, and capabilities at production scale.
• Experience in developing RAG architecture, including embeddings and VectorDB, to leverage LLMs on large private documents.
• Experience in fine tuning open source LLM models.
• Nice to have: working with Docker in a micro service environment.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Passion for innovation in exploring the frontiers of generative AI technology
• Excellent problem-solving skills and architectural trade-offs in the context of generative AI applications
• Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers
