Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Engineer at Arava Power Company. The Engineer will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to solar field development and maintenance. This includes designing and implementing solar projects, conducting site evaluations, managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. While the role is primarily based in Herzliya, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar field development and engineering
• Knowledge of photovoltaic technology and renewable energy systems
• Ability to conduct site evaluations and assess project feasibility
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting and timeline management
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the energy industry
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field
• Experience with software tools and modeling for solar energy analysis (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) is a plus
• Proficiency in Hebrew and English
