Junicorn is a juniors community in the computer vision field aiming to close the gap between academy and finding a first job by building hands on projects.

Role Description

This is a volunteer Computer Vision Mentor role at Junicorn -קהילת ג׳וניורים. The role is hybrid, mostly remote all in the center of Israel. Mentors will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a group of 3-6 juniors working on a computer vision project, providing support and expertise in the field.

Project Details

The current project we are hiring for is an semi autonomus driving golf cart, that will be in use by an disabled child (vision disability), the project is in collaboration with paragrutaraly - a non profit organisation building car races for disabled children.

Qualifications

• Computer Vision expertise
• Experience in mentoring or teaching
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant programming languages like Python, C++, or MATLAB
• Knowledge in Jetson nano
• Ability to work collaboratively and remotely
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
