Business Development Analyst

Job Description: Join us at Sheba IMPACT, Sheba Medical Center's TTO as a Business Development Analyst responsible for facilitating the transition of cutting-edge scientific discoveries into real-world applications. The role involves a blend of scientific expertise and business acumen, analyzing innovative technologies, and strategizing their commercialization potential. You'll have a mixture of different healthcare-related analyses to perform, combined with true collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders, assess initial ideas and potential intellectual property (IP), and drive partnerships to propel scientific advancements into impactful products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Evaluate and promote cutting-edge healthcare technologies emerging from Sheba Medical Center's personnel.

2.     Prepare business plans, profiles and pitch decks to aid commercialization processes.

3.     Assess competitive landscape, conducting market research, test for product-market-fit and GTM strategies.

4.    Collaborate with researchers, physicians, and various industry partners to formulate commercialization strategies.

5.     Facilitate technology transfer processes, venture creation and licensing opportunities.

6.    Assist with writing business-related aspects of competitive grants.

Requirements:

1.     Relevant background in Healthcare and science - Minimum MSc, preferred - PhD / MD.

2.     Strong analytical skills with some business acumen. Experience in entrepreneurship / technology assessment or business analysis is a plus.

3.     Passionate about scientific advancements and their practical applications.

4.     Energetic, positive 'can-do' attitude, with an ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

5.     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6.     Prior experience in technology transfer, product development or product management, or related fields is a plus.
