Information Security Specialist

The Weizmann Institute of Science is looking for an Information Security Specialist.

The position includes:

• Planning, operating, and maintaining the institute's information security systems
• Utilize products from Broadcom, Symantec AV system, Checkpoint, Palo Alto FW systems, IronPort email routing systems, RSA centralized authentication solutions, etc.
• Working with PKI infrastructure and signature systems, protecting Windows and Linux operating systems on servers
• Leading the process of planning & initiating documents and overseeing the methods of implementing new information security solutions
• Working with various IT teams and other organizational interfaces

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience in an information security team in large organizations - mandatory
• Experience in the implementation and maintenance of Palo Alto / Checkpoint Firewalls systems and a deep understanding of working with L2/L3/L7 Policies - mandatory
• Experience in implementing and managing Endpoint Security and EDR systems in thousands of endpoints - mandatory
• Experience in operating Secure Web Gateway systems for thousands of users - mandatory
• Experience managing Secure Mail Relay systems and a deep understanding of email protocols and their security are mandatory.
• Working with signature systems and PKI infrastructures and understanding the signing processes - mandatory
• Hardening servers and Windows and Linux operating systems - mandatory
• Having significant experience and understanding in leading development teams, overseeing a website protection system (WAF), and having an in-depth knowledge of web-based vulnerabilities is essential
• Ability to conduct investigations into information security events - analysis of network-based events, Windows/Linux Process using EDR and Sandbox tools, performing Static/Dynamic Analysis and issuing IOCs and implementing them in systems - mandatory
