QA Team Leader

Description:

We are looking for a hands-on QA Team Leader to lead our Mobile and Web Quality Assurance team. This position is ideal for an experienced QA professional who wants to guide a group of skilled testers while remaining technically involved in manual and automation testing within a cloud-based environment. You’ll collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure the highest product quality across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Mobile and Web QA engineers, fostering technical growth and team excellence.
• Plan, design, and oversee manual and automation test strategies across mobile and web applications.
• Define and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of test documentation (STP, STD, STR).
• Manage test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple projects and releases.
• Drive test automation initiatives, collaborating with developers to expand test coverage and reliability.
• Coordinate testing across Android, iOS, and cross-platform environments using cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate quality into every phase of the lifecycle.
• Provide hands-on support in complex testing scenarios, including API, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify process bottlenecks, suggest improvements, and lead their implementation.

• 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation), including 3+ years in Mobile QA.
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience, mentoring or managing QA engineers.
• Hands-on experience testing Android and iOS applications – Must.
• Proficiency with Python or Java – Must.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments – Must.
• Experience with API testing and cloud-based environments (AWS or equivalent) – Must.
• Experience in automation testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, or equivalent) – Must.
• Strong background in Web testing – Advantage. 
• Experience in working with multidisciplinary systems (HW+SW) – Advantage.
• Certification in QA or Automation Testing – Advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills, leadership presence, and a passion for quality.
