Chief Architect & Deputy CTO

We are looking for a top-tier technical leader to join our team as the Chief Architect & Deputy CTO at Clarity. In this role, you will demonstrate exceptional technical expertise and strategic insight, leading architectural design, technical leadership, and the strategic execution of engineering initiatives. As a pivotal figure in our engineering team and the CTO's right-hand, you will drive technical excellence and innovation, shaping the future of our engineering practices and product development.

What you'll be doing

• Architect and lead the technical strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and vision.
• Act as the senior technical authority, driving architectural decisions and setting the standard for technical excellence.
• Oversee critical engineering projects, ensuring they are executed with precision and align with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and R&D Manager, facilitating a unified approach to integrating research and development with engineering operations.
• Lead technical decision-making, addressing complex challenges and fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
• Establish and maintain top-tier engineering standards, influencing overall strategy and direction.
• Stay at the forefront of technology trends, incorporating cutting-edge solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Mentor and guide the technical team, elevating their skills and fostering a high-performance engineering environment.
  
  

• BSc. in Computer Science or related field, with advanced technical qualifications preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in technical roles, with a significant focus on system architecture and technical leadership.
• Proven track record in strategic technical planning and execution of major engineering projects.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex technical landscapes.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for inspiring and guiding technical teams.
  
  

• Strong technical background with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. Experience in several of the following is preferred: Node.js (TS/Vanilla JS), AWS, Vue, Flutter, and Python.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, service-oriented architecture, serverless technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is advantageous.
• Ability to understand and integrate a wide range of technologies and methodologies into cohesive, efficient engineering practices.
