Product Manager (Portfolio Opportunity)

A Series A Fintech startup in our portfolio is looking for a product manager to join as an early member of the product team, shaping the product and strategy while working closely with the VP Product and founders.

You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of product features, engaging in customer conversations, and collaborating closely with the engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the platform.

What you will do:

• Own product features from ideation to launch, ensuring successful delivery and meeting customer needs.
• Proactively engage in customer conversations to gather insights, understand pain points, and needs, translating them into innovative product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to define feature requirements and prioritize development efforts.
• Participate in the creation and execution of the product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer demands.
• Drive data-driven decision-making processes, leveraging key metrics and analytics to measure product performance and maximize business impact.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality products.
• Experience in the Fintech industry and/or financial background is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Technical background preferred, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
• Expert in designing products that are easy to use and provide a delightful user experience.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
