UX Researcher - MLA Replacement

Check Point is looking for a UX Researcher who will play a significant role in our product design and decisions.

This is a temporary position for ~6 months (maternity leave replacement).

In this position, you’ll work closely with multiple engineering, design, and product teams to establish deep understanding of our audience’s needs, validate feature designs before release and uncover opportunities to add business value.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll conduct primary research to understand the needs, expectations, and behaviors of security administrators in charge of keeping their organizations safe.

This includes:

• Working with cross-functional teams to drive actionable change and align everyone’s understanding of our customers.
• Planning, moderating and analyzing thorough Usability studies to support multiple product teams.
• Communicating insights and recommendations in a consumable, engaging way using reports, journey maps, and other formats as appropriate.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, developers, and analysts to mentor and/or partner on research initiatives (and advocate for user-centered experiences).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in conducting end-to-end Usability studies (i.e. planning, recruiting participants, moderating sessions, analyzing data, and communicating the findings).
• Experience working in direct collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to understand and clarify their research needs and communicate analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience conducting research for complex systems and technical products.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, or a related field with experience answering social questions. Programmers/engineers/other technical background with strong UX and User Research orientation are welcome to apply as well.
