Lead Product Designer

Vicarius is an Israeli-born cybersecurity startup backed by tier-1 investors from San Francisco, Portugal and Tel Aviv. Currently operating out of NYC and Tel Aviv, Vicarius is set to solve the biggest challenge of all: security vulnerabilities. The Vicarius powered platform, vRx, is a simple and self-serve product that helps companies identify, prioritize and fix security threats in an integrated, automated, and non-traditional manner.

After successfully closing our Series B funding round, we’re looking for an experienced, ambitious, and motivated Lead Product Designer to lead our product design team and craft the best web experience for our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading the content UX domain in Vicarius and will help us shape the tone and voice of the product from the onboarding phases to the incremental updates.

What you will do:

• Lead a team of 2-3 talented individuals
• Design end-to-end, simple, and elegant user experiences from concept to launch
• Work closely with our product manager and developers to generate ideas, concepts, flows, and user journeys
• Conduct research and take an active part in the Discovery Phase in all UX Projects
• Produce top-notch design by creating optimal UX and pixel-perfect UI
• Create new UI components and develop new techniques
• Validate solutions by conducting user testing sessions
• Work closely with the R&D team to ensure assets and guidelines are built for efficient implementation
• Ensure the final production product meets visual standards (design GQA)

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in product design or UX on complex, cross functional organizations
• Minimum 1+ years experience in a leading role
• Experience designing across multiple platforms and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes from concept to completion.
• Experience using Figma, following brand and system guidelines and extending component libraries
• Excellent problem-solving skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy.
• Strong visual design skills and expertise in creating flows, user journeys, page layouts/templates, functional design, iconography, and style guides
• Strong communication and presentation skills - written, verbal and visual (Hebrew and English)
• Experience in designing complex desktop applications
• Experience working with Startup Founders - a huge advantage!

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
