Development team leader - CTO

We are looking for a skilled Development Team Leader to lead a team of passionate, talented, and diverse engineers.

We are Yoola (yoola.com) - Official YouTube MCN. We operate with more than 3 000 YouTube channels and help them to withdraw their earnings flexibly, grow on YouTube, solve their policy and copyright issues, localize their channels, provide creators with business opportunities and funding.

We develop an industry-leading and advanced fintech platform. You will:

• The role includes both technical and product managerial responsibilities, leading a team of 3 developers (initially) and hands-on work. Work closely and establish a strong interface with the business teams:
• Play an active role in shaping product strategy based on what’s technically possible (and sometimes, find creative ways to make the impossible possible).
• Meet our business goals from an engineering standpoint.
• Develop software components end-to-end, leading major features in Yoola’s product.
• Handle complex challenges in extending our system’s efficiency and capabilities, and always make it better!
• Constantly re-invent and improve our infrastructures and our engineers.

Your Experience and Skills:

• At least 6 years experience developing complex systems, preferably with Python, Angular, PostgreSQPhyton.
• Proven experience as a Team Leader; Track record of leading and growing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
• Product management understanding ability to create tasks from product description.
• Languages: English (Fluent), Russian, and Hebrew (as a plus for this Role)
• Delivery oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and short release cycles.
• Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, methodologies, testing practices and resolving blockage.
• Proven experience with relational and non-relational DBs.
• Ability to write high-performance, maintainable, reusable code and designs.
• Independent, curious, and autodidact with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
