Responsibilities:
Develop and define design specifications, architectural frameworks, and electrical designs, conduct verification processes, and manage the transition of products to production specifically for medical devices.
Direct and mentor a dedicated team of electrical engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
Manage the hardware development lifecycle from initial concept through to production, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Proactively identify and address potential risks in hardware development, focusing on ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Professional Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in hardware development, specifically within the medical device industry, is required.
Proven expertise in designing and developing multi-disciplinary devices is essential.
Leadership experience within a team is highly valued.
Mandatory proficiency in RF and Analog circuits, a solid understanding of sensor integration, and embedded systems.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and guidelines in the medical device field, such as FDA and CE.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly adept at addressing challenges in hardware development and conducting Root Cause Analysis.
Excellent proficiency in English, encompassing both oral and written communication.
