The Role

As our VP Program & Release Management in the R&D team, you will lead and manage a team dedicated to software releases and project management. The focus of this role will be managing version releases and R&D processes to ensure efficient, high quality and timely delivery. You will be the go-to person for every aspect of each project’s coordination, timeline, and execution.

Our ideal candidate is a strong individual who is comfortable with both technical and organizational challenges, a leader by example, with good communication skills . You will be part of the management rnd leadership team, defining working processes and making cross RN&D impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage release orchestration from release scoping, planning and scheduling to execution, monitoring and prioritization.
• Define and manage working methodoldies (i.e discovery , PI plan, etc)
• Define and present dashboards to present R&D investments (development and testing )
• Manage release status meetings, Identify risks and manage mitigations
• Lead improvement and leasson learnt processes
• Interface with groups outside R&D : Product, Customer Support, Delivery, Sales. As R&D focal point you will gather the needs and translate it into a R&D plan.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, experience in software and/or a technologically relevant field
• 5+ years of experience as a release / program / R&D project manager
• 8-10 years of experience leading a development team that develop complex products
• Experience in the Telecommunications industry is a must, network expertise preferred
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies is advantage ,
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
• Demonstrated effective leadership in large rnd organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in hebrew and english are must
• Deep hands on experience with project management tools, Jira is advantage
