Electrical Engineer

An innovative startup company has developed a completely new type of LiDAR technology based on the coherence of light. It generates a four-dimensional (4D) image of the environment, in which objects, their distance from the camera in each image, and their direction and speed of motion relative to the camera are visible (similar to a radar).

As part of the role, work is carried out on all stages of development, from component sourcing to actual development.

With around 7 employees, significant growth is expected this year. Located in Jerusalem.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Collaborate with diverse teams (optics, software, and mechanics) to design, define, and

support the next-gen optical chip.

▪ Design electronic boards from the prototype stage to production, including schematic

design and managing PCB layout design.

▪ Source electronic components by working with vendors and suppliers.

▪ Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends and technologies in electronic design.

Requirements:

▪ 3 years of experience in Electronic Board Design.

▪ Proficiency in Orcad PCB schematic capture and PCB layout considerations.

▪ Strong understanding of signal integrity fundamentals.

▪ Hands-on experience in board bring-up and debugging hardware/firmware.

Preferred Qualifications:

▪ Python scripting capabilities.

▪ Familiarity with JESD204 (protocol and board level).

▪ Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL.

▪ Experience with Intel Quartus design software.
